Eyelash Extensions

What is Eyelash Extensions?
Eyelash Extensions are semi-permanent meaning that they can last up to 2 or 3 months (depending on your eyelash growth cycle and how well you look after them.) They are lightweight synthetic lashes that are individually attached to each of your own lashes with a specially formulated bonding liquid to give you natural looking, long, thick and curved lashes Eyelash extensions are perfectly safe, as they are NOT attached to the skin only to the eyelash. The procedure takes about 1.5 - 2 hours depending on how many lashes need to be applied.

The Procedure - Whats involved in getting Eyelash Extensions

We start by taping down your bottom eyelashes. Then while keeping your eyes closed each synthetic lash is dipped into the glue and attached to each of your own eyelash until you have a full set of longer and thicker eyelashes.

PLEASE NOTE: that during the procedure your eyes are closed all the time so even if you have sensitive eyes this technique will cause you no discomfort (taping down the bottom eyelashes, is unusual and feels odd and it is normal for some peoples eyes to water a bit at this point. However IT IS NOT PAINFUL!) The taping down goes quickly so before you know it your eyes will be shut and you, half asleep.)

Yes! I said half asleep! The procedure is completely comfortable and pain free! and often my clients nod off from time to time during the procedure waking up to gorgeous, love-inspiring eyelashes!!!

Caring for your Eyelash Extensions
1.
Do not expose the Eyelash Extensions to water for +/-10 hours after application to allow the Bonding Agent to cure properly.

2. Do not allow moisturises, eye creams or oily/creamy eye make up removers to come in contact with the Eyelash Extensions. Any products containing oils will break down the bond of the Bonding Agent resulting in earlier touch-ups (fills).

3. If you feel that you still want to wear mascara, use only water-soluble mascara on your Eyelash Extensions Waterproof mascara will break the bond of the Bonding Agent and will shorten the lifespan of the extensions.

4. Curling of Eyelash Extensions is not recommended. They are already curved.

5. Heated eyelash curling will damage the extensions.

6. To avoid eyelashes clumping, you will need to sleep on your back for the first night while the bonding agent is still curing.
